Enjoy Portavadie

Set in a man-made lagoon on Loch Fyne, Argyll, Scotland, Portavadie is one of the UK’s most modern marinas, with sheltered deep-water berthing and stunning purpose-built marina facilities.

Our Five Gold Anchor award-winning marina is a gateway to some of the best sailing waters on the west coast of Scotland. Highland landscapes and vistas, islands, harbours, safe anchorages and good shore-side facilities are within easy reach, while the entrance to the Crinan Canal at nearby Ardrishaig opens up the west coast and the islands beyond.

Berthing guests can enjoy a complementary round of golf at the Kyles of Bute Golf Club as well as access (additional charges apply) to our fabulous Leisure Experience. With an outdoor infinity pool, indoor pool, children’s splash pool, spa pools, sauna and a fully equipped gym, it’s a great place to relax after a sail! Please note that access is limited to 4 guests per berth. For the ultimate in relaxation, treat yourself to a Spa Experience

Our dedicated visitors berths are on S dock, parallel to the main buildings as shown in the picture to the right. Some additional berthing is afforded on the concrete breakwater pontoons in settled weather.

Due to a full marina this season, we ask that you don't take any other berths in the marina, unless agreed with marina staff in advance, or you will be asked to move to allow the berth holder to return.

Visitors berthing is on a first come first served basis.

Vessels <12m can berth on the S dock finger pontoons, just out of site to the left of the picture opposite.

Vessels 12-15m can berth alongside the southern half of S dock, as per the vessel in the picture.

Vessels over 15m have limited berthing, mostly found on the concrete breakwater pontoons.

Rafting may be required on S dock, during busy periods.

All visitors should call ahead on VHF Channel 80 and proceed to S dock on arrival.

Unfortunately we currently have no black water waste facilities available.
