Welcome to Portavadie.com. Portavadie is sited directly across Loch Fyne from Tarbert, the famous picturesque fishing village connected by the hourly Calmac ferry crossing Loch Fyne. A brand new marina is under construction at Portavadie and is going to be a popular and welcome addition to the facilities and the choice of berths for Loch Fyne, particularly small boats and yachts. Portavadie is perfectly located so that anyone who has a boat can either nip across the water to Tarbert, or alternatively make use of the car and passenger ferry, either to eat lunch, or buy fresh seafood and other produce for better dining. If you have access to a motor vehicle at Portavadie then there is plenty to explore in the area, some great places to eat, and of course places to buy fresh produce and daily consumables. There are of course access to chandlers both sides of the Loch, and a conveninently placed sailmaker in Tarbert.
